Swimtime Pools is a full service pool company with services that include new pool construction, pool repair and renovations as well as routine pool maintenance. We want to take care of all your pool needs, so you can spend more time enjoying your backyard getaway!
Our Story
The Hilliard family has been a part of the Atlanta swimming pool industry since May of 1990. Started by Jim Sr., the business has grown to included a second generation (Jimmy & Doc Hilliard) and now a third generation. Sure, pool trends and technology have changed over the years, but one thing has remained the same – our commitment to going above and beyond for our customers and our employees!

We want to earn your business. And then we intend to keep it by being dependable, knowledgeable, honest and fair in everything we do.
We treat our employees just as well as we treat our customers. Each winter, our repair technicians attend technical training classes provided by the major manufacturers. We stay up-to-date on the latest technology, so we can use that knowledge to keep your pool operating its best. Most of our repair technicians have been with us at least 10 years; in fact, some of them have now brought their sons into the business.

Since 1990 the Hilliard family and the employees of Swimtime Pools have served the swimming pool needs and desires of North Atlanta’s most discerning citizens.
People
We have employees with 20 plus years tenure and employees with 15 plus years of service whose sons now work here. We have customers who have been customers of Mr. Hilliard, Sr. since before Swimtime Pools in it’s current form was created. Business can and should be a win win relationship.
Dependability
Your pool guy at Swimtime Pools is taking care of your pool on the same day each week at approximately the same time. He knows your system, he knows your pool. If there is a problem he can’t handle, he knows a Swimtime team member who can.
Experience
The repair technicians have been repairing pool equipment for 9 years on the short end to 34 on the long end. Whether you have an old mechanical time clock or an app on your smart phone, we’re experienced in the changing technologies of the pool industry.
Training
Each winter the repair technicians at Swimtime Pools attend technical training classes provided by the major manufacturers. Courses on pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, pool cleaners, and automation manufactured by Pentair, Zodiac, Hayward, and Rheem are how we spend the winter.
New Equipment
Flow requirements, line voltage, amp draw, gas volume are among the considerations we give before recommending a piece of equipment to you. As an authorized dealer, we pass along extended warranties from the manufacturer and as a bonus we’ll dispose of the old equipment for you too.
Pebble Finishes
Strip off the old, seal the joints and clean, clean, clean, and now you apply that new pebble finish… but wait that new finish needs special attention physically and chemically. Swimtime Pools begin with carefully draining pool and ends with balanced water that is crystal clear and swim ready.
